RIP Mike Duignan 1960-2012

6765 N. Oxford, Chicago. Muscle cars lined our quiet street. Bob Miller lived across the street. His light blue convertible Dart GTS was the coveted neighborhood car for us Moparists. Miler’s dog, which he affectionately named dog, could be heard barking during daylight hours. That maroon Polaris never left our street and our dark blue Volvo station wagon was Mike’s and my training vehicle and was built to withstand anything. This photo I found in the basement of Oxford before the house was sold. Mike had a swollen lip from a bumble bee that flew into his mouth while we were riding our bikes in 1972. There is much solace in the good memories I had with my brother. Rest in Peace Mike, Jim
